1-20-20 – The Earl Ingram Show – Hour 2

This morning on the “Earl Ingram Show”, 37yrs ago 1983 America finally succumbed to a demand, to honor the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy with a holiday. I remember the fight that went along with it, the debate was as ugly as the struggle he led for justice during his life. Today America has come to honor this great man, once a year there are celebrations across the nation. I have a dream, will ring across the nation, from Stone Mountain Georgia to Lookout Mountain of Tennessee. Oh how wonderful to hear the beautiful oratory skills of the master. It still chills my bones every time I hear it. But Dr. King was so much more than that. Very few people will be remembered in perpetuity as generations come and go, his memory will be remembered. If that is the case and it is, then it is important that you know the real Dr. King. This morning we will talk about the Dr. King, who later called his dream a nightmare. We will talk of the evolution of Dr. King. I will be joined by Student Minister William Muhammad local representative of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam.
